The research of Dr. Shermin de Silva (August 2010 Graduate) was recently featured in a BBC documentary on the program, Natural World. Dr. de Silva is the Director of the Uda Walawe Elephant Research Project in Sri Lanka. The documentary, “Sri Lanka: Elephant Island,” shows the complex social world of the Sri Lanka elephants.
