Research - Cell and Developmental Biology

Cell Biology as a field is focused on various aspects of physiology of individual cells including their common features shared by all cells in all organisms and specifics of various specialized cells found across the evolutionary tree. The main goal of modern cell biology is to understand how a collection of molecules manage to make the cell an elementary living creature. The field of Developmental Biology takes this problem to the next levels and investigates how individual cells come together to form a tissue and how tissues form an organism.
