Dr. Doris Wagner receives the 2019 Fellow of ASPB Award

Dr. Doris Wagner

Dr. Doris Wagner, Robert I. Williams Term Professor of Biology, receives the 2019 Fellow of ASPB (American Society of Plant Biologists) Award. The honors will be presented at the Plant Biology 2019 meeting (August 3-7, 2019), in San Jose, California.

Dr. Wagner’s research is focused on the reprogramming of cell identity and function during developmental transitions and in response to environmental cues in plants. Dr. Wagner’s group has shown how master transcriptional regulators, hormone response and chromatin state together orchestrate cell fate reprogramming in plants.

Fellow of ASPB award is granted in recognition of distinguished and long-term contributions to plant biology. To learn more about the American Society of Plant Biology visit their website here - https://aspb.org/
