Paul Schmidt named the Patricia M. Williams Endowed Term Chair in Biology

In acknowledgement of his distinguished scholarship, teaching, and outstanding service to the Department of Biology and the School of Arts and Sciences, Paul Schmidt has been named the Patricia M. Williams Endowed Term Chair in Biology. The Patricia M. Williams Endowed Term Chair was established in 2006 by Paul C. Williams, W’67, in honor of his mother. Paul Williams is an engaged leader and generous supporter of faculty, students, capital projects, and programs across the University of Pennsylvania.
